Hixie: The CSS working group is irrelevant. I agree with everything he says — someone needs to light a fire under the CSSWG’s ass, but I don’t know who has the necessary time, inclination, and expertise.
He’s right that the CSSWG needs to open up, but he’s making some very exaggerated claims to back it up. E.g. none of those 40 members who aren’t subscribed to www-style actually participate in working group discussions or edit drafts. And the blog that was discussed every week for nine weeks wasn’t actually discussed more than two or three times, very briefly.
