A Long-Overdue Correction

A while back I wrote about my Azureus Widget and explained why it wasn’t yet listed at DashboardWidgets.com. DBW had a policy to reject any submitted widgets associated with P2P networks. They have since changed that policy and have invited me to resubmit my widget, which I will likely do as soon as I release a new version.

I still thumb my nose at whomever maintains Apple’s widget gallery. Then again, I see their point: for a select handful of people who use Macs and have a dedicated BitTorrent machine, I have made it slightly less annoying to infringe upon copyright. How much monetary damage has that caused? To whom should I send the check?
